Credits Usage Policy

This page explains how credits work on Kinpict so you can make a clear buying decision before you start a paid family photo generation.

How credits are used today

Credits are used when you submit a paid family photo generation request. Browsing the site, reading scenario pages, or opening the pricing page does not use credits.

Standard family photo generations use 4 credits, while Enhanced generations use 9 credits. Those are the live working rates used across the current core family-photo workflow.

  • 80 credits supports about 20 standard generations or 8 enhanced generations
  • 280 credits supports about 70 standard generations or 31 enhanced generations

When credits are deducted

Credits are deducted when the paid generation request is accepted for processing. If your account does not have enough credits for the current generation cost, the request will not continue until you add more.

Credits are tied to the logged-in account that is using the paid workflow, not to casual browsing sessions.

  • Opening the tool does not spend credits
  • Submitting a paid generation request does spend credits
  • If you are not logged in, the paid workflow cannot use account credits

Guest tries and paid credits are separate

Kinpict gives one free guest preview. That preview is separate from purchased credits and is intended only as a lightweight way to experience the workflow.

Once you move into the paid workflow, generation requests use account credits instead of guest tries.

  • Current guest preview is limited to one free preview
  • Purchased credits remain on the account until used

What happens if a paid generation fails

If a paid generation fails after credits were deducted, the same deducted credits are returned to the account automatically. The goal is to keep the credit system predictable when users need to retry with better photos or a clearer instruction.

If your balance still does not look right after a failed request, keep the page details and payment context available so the issue can be reviewed properly.

Credit costs, pack sizes, and guest preview limits may change as the product evolves, but the live pricing page should always reflect the current active purchase options.
